Credit Union of Georgia Joins Cherokee Chamber of Commerce in Celebrating Pi Day

Credit Union of Georgia teamed up with the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce to spread cheer and pie on March 14, 2022 – otherwise known as Pi Day. All schools within Cherokee County received pies in honor of National Pi Day. The pies were delivered by a Credit Union of Georgia employee and a member of the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce Education Committee. Pi Day is celebrated around the world on March 14th (3.14). Pi (π) is one of the most well-known mathematical constants. It is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. Celebrating Pi Day is just another way for Credit Union of Georgia to have some fun and interact with their local schools!

“Banking isn’t all business; we like to have a little fun too – and eat pie!” said Brian Albrecht, President/CEO of Credit Union of Georgia. “We want to make sure that our teachers, faculty and staff know just how much we appreciate them! We know that their job is not easy, so we wanted to join the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce in presenting them with a little treat!”
